Help can have many different faces.
It can be practical, financial or through prayers. The Bible has an interesting statement about it in
2. Corinthians 9:7 "Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, [...]" At the moment, there are many good charities and organizations which can be supported. It is important to feel comfortable and secure how the resources are used.
AiNA soa aims for transparency and uses the resources carefully as we work on a low budget scale. The backdraft of money to the western world is prevented through buying local products if available and in reasonable quality. Everyone from a high income country works for free in AiNA soa. In this way, we bring the donation straight into the country with just a little left what is needed for the bank transfer.
The local employees receive a middle class salary equal to the national standard. The aim is that the team members have enough for their daily needs and also a bit more to build up some security for their families.
Practical help is possible in different ways. We look for people who help in the sponsoring section, in translation and correction. This can be done in their home country.
We also offer the possibility to volunteer during the holidays, a short term or over a longer period.
